The agreement with NPG is part of ProQuest's ongoing strategy to expand its STM content pool with highly respected and authoritative titles.  The content from NPG will be available beginning in October 2005 through a variety of ProQuest's science and medical databases, including its popular ProQuest Health and Medical Complete^TM.  Backfiles of Nature will be available from 1990, and current content will be available 12 months after original publication.

ProQuest is renowned for its vast, accessible journal, newspaper and periodical databases.  Continually expanding, ProQuest databases grew by more than 1,000 new newspapers and journals in 2004.  Well over 16,000 periodicals are now available through its products and more than 8,000 are full text.
