ProQuest Health Management launches
Single-source digital access is powered by ProQuest SmartSearch™
ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 24, 2005 -- ProQuest Information and Learning announced the launch of ProQuest Health Management, its new digital access solution for a comprehensive array of journals serving the business end of the healthcare industry. Its vast content pool connects users to more than 500 key journals and more than 4,500 dissertations on such topics as insurance, law, statistics, and business and personnel management. ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest Company, creates and publishes databases for libraries and educational institutions worldwide.

ProQuest Health Management’s journals such as Hospital Topics, Health Care Financing Review, Journal of Hospital Marketing & Public Relations and others – are now available in full text along with the original images, graphs and other illustrations. A variety of sophisticated search options, including 30 searchable fields, “More like this” options and ProQuest Smart Search make the product useful for novice and expert information seekers.  Smart Search displays suggested topics at the top of the user’s results to aid in directing or narrowing a search.  ProQuest’s popular “My Research Summary” is also included, allowing users to mark and save articles to a file for use at their leisure.  Email alerts, which notify users when new content or topics of interest are posted, are also available.

ProQuest Health Management is part of a growing product line developed by ProQuest to connect all types of health professionals to top quality information. The company recently expanded agreements with Alliance Communications and NewsRx, publishers of sought-after STM journals.
