UMI offers a collection of more than 150,000 out-of-print books that can be xerographically reproduced on demand. Titles cover all subject areas and hundreds of publishers. Original publication dates range from the 15th century to last year.

Books on Demand are reprinted on acid-free paper and are bound in cloth or paper. Some titles are also available on microfilm. Three to four thousand titles are added to the Books on Demand holdings each year.
