Rich LaFauci, Senior Vice President and General Manager, ProQuest Research Solutions

Rich LaFauci, Senior Vice President and General Manager of ProQuest Research Solutions, leads the consumer business as well as product brands RefWorks and the recently launched Pivot for research development professionals. Prior to joining ProQuest, Mr. LaFauci led the Technology Capability team for Digitas, directing teams who brought interactive experiences to life and who created the systems to operate and optimize marketing campaigns and programs. He has more than two decades of experience building and marketing customer applications and managing the underlying technology.

In 1997, Mr. LaFauci founded The Ridge Group, a consulting firm that helps corporations develop Web-based products and services, with a focus on business-to-business, fee-based subscription services. Prior to starting his own company, he was VP and Publisher at Mainspring Communications, a Web-based information service for Internet business managers and technologists, and VP of Systems Development at Information Access Company (Thomson Corporation). Mr. LaFauci has an MSEE degree from Northeastern University.
