Mr. Jakobowski is Chief Financial Officer of ProQuest. Prior to joining ProQuest, Mr. Jakobowski served as Chief Financial Officer of ProQuest's parent company Cambridge Information Group (“Cambridge”) since September 1999. During this period, Cambridge revenues grew from $19MM to over $130MM via multiple acquisitions and internal growth.
Since November 2001, Mr. Jakobowski has also served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee for Navtech, Inc., a publicly traded provider of software products to the airline industry.
Prior to joining Cambridge, Mr. Jakobowski was the Vice President of Accounting for Thomson Financial Database Group from August 1997 to September 1999, and the Corporate Controller for Kline Group from June 1994 to August 1997. Prior to 1994, Mr. Jakobowski spent over 11 years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse, Coopers & Lybrand, and Johnson Lambert and Co. Mr. Jakobowski is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
